Joanna Pybus's fur and eye creations

When I was about 14 my mom got me these crazy furry slippers from Steve Madden. They looked kind of like this clutch above, but without the eyes, and made your feet look like they belonged to a giant fuzzy monster. I was in love with them. Unfortunately, my dog had a thing with them too. Even though she was already turning into a lazy grandma poodle who doozed through three quarters of the day, for some reason these fuzzy things would bring out the torpedo craze in her and she would just grab them and run around the house, throwing them up and down, until she finally got tired enough that you could chase her down and rip the slipper out of her mouth. Obviously, with such an insane creature pestering them and slowly ripping them to shreds, my slippers did not last long..but they will always be remembered.

And this is why I am in love with fuzz again....this time in the form of Joanna Pybus's fuzzy monster creations. It makes me want to stick a giant eye on every piece of clothing. Or buy the sweater below and eat all the cookies in the cookie jar whilst pretending to be the cookie monster.
